Since we do not do tour group travel, we are always looking for books that give us the means to travel on our own. The pictures, itineraries and descriptive places to visit, make this a book we will be traveling with during our one month visit.
Not quite sure why reviewers who wrote reviews said there were pictures in this guide. I purchased it for that reason only to discover that there are none. Unfortunate.
Very helpful concise history, excellent restaurant and hotel descriptions and advice on how to get to the appropriate sites
Was a great resource as I visited these countries--gave hisroric perspective as well as major sights to see, and things to do.
